On Friday 5th May, Ayscoughfee Hall School took two teams to the Astro turf at Surfleet and produced some great hockey. 

Our B team, coached for the final time by Mrs Hurn, had an excellent start winning their first two games. They drew their third and unluckily lost their final game to finish in a well-deserved 3^rd place in their league.

Our A Team was resolute in their play and made sure of a draw against the eventual winners at the start. One comfortable win and two more drawn games followed which could have easily gone our way. The A team finished a very solid second place overall in the tournament.

Both teams results are to be very proud of. Thanks go to all that took part, to Mrs Hurn for excellent coaching and to the parents that supported the fixture.
