Our U9 and U11 teams kicked off the new year with their first netball match of 2025. Despite the cold weather, both teams quickly warmed up and found their rhythm.

The U9 game started slowly, but the team soon gained confidence and began to pass the ball more fluidly. The match was very closely contested, with the teams tied at 3-3 three-quarters of the way through. Unfortunately, Grantham Prep managed to edge ahead in the final quarter, securing a narrow victory. The U9s played well, showing great teamwork and resilience.

The U11 girls were more confident from the second quarter onwards, displaying some lovely netball with solid defensive play. The game remained close throughout, but The Grantham Preparatory School just managed to stay ahead at the final whistle. It was a hard-fought match, and our girls gave it their all.
