The sun shone for us on Friday to mark the very special event of the official opening of The PTFA King Charles III Coronation Garden. Mrs Wright presented our 'Gardening Dads' with a small gift to say thank you for all their hard work on the project, before they took centre stage to cut the ribbon. Reverend Aileen blessed the garden, followed by a wonderful performance from our school choir. Our special guests then sat down to a serving of homemade soup specially made by Mrs Woodrow with produce harvested from the garden.

We are truly grateful to Jonathan Judge from Supermax Healthcare Limited who sponsored the garden and to everyone who has had any involvement with the project. It has been really wonderful to see Mrs Patman and the children from Eco Club enjoying the garden and this academic year we have a timetable in place to ensure every class will get the opportunity to spend some time planting and caring for our crops.
