Year 4 Egyptian Day
Year 4 had an Ancient Egyptian day on Wednesday 12th October; we all dressed up and took part in lots of activities. We kicked off the day by linking our English instructional writing to our topic and made flat bread by following the recipe step by step. We mummified our friends and Mrs Staples judged our skills. SC and TS were our winners! We were also tasked with a very important mission: to investigate how King Tutankhamun died. We followed clues, looked at suspects and scanned for evidence to draw a conclusion. We finished off our special day by sitting down to a feast fit for a pharaoh. I think it’s safe to say that we all had a fantastic day and slept well that night!
