What a crew! Year 1 braved a very wet and soggy outing to Nene Park in Peterborough for their pirate day. It really was a miserable rainy day but the children were absolutely brilliant; enjoying the activities and having fun despite being wet! In groups we made pirate boats using different materials and took them down to the lake to see if they floated…Which they did! We then used great teamwork to make pirate dens before a well-deserved lunch in the warm. The adults were so impressed and proud of all the children and how well they behaved in the wet conditions.
