On Thursday the 2nd of November, Year 5 children visited Burghley House in Stamford, to experience a day in a life as a Tudor. We met Henry VIII and learnt all about his life, including his wives and his family. The children played a variety of fun Tudor games, took part in a traditional dance and even learnt about their food. They behaved impeccably as always and asked some fantastic questions. Well done to the children and what a great way to start our new topic this term!
