What a day at Cambridge Botanical Gardens! Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed going on a journey through different biomes and marvelling at the amazing flora of our planet. Having visited the inspirational greenhouses, the children followed the map around the garden, stopping to see the scented garden, fen display, dry garden, the unique and rare trees and finishing by sitting down on a beautiful lawn in front of a lake to observe the garden's wildlife.   

A huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Wayman for accompanying us and sharing their amazing knowledge on plants with the children. As always, the children behaved impeccably and were complimented by members of the public on their manners. They are a real credit to their parents and school!
