Teachers award ‘Star of the Week’ to a pupil in their class for good work or improvement, courteous behaviour, assisting a teacher or classmate. ‘Star of the Week’ certificates are awarded during the whole school success assembly that takes place every Friday. In addition, to help spread kindness throughout the school ‘Kindness Awards’ are presented by our Kindness Ambassadors each week to a class, team, group or individual who has done something special in that week. We truly believe that a fundamental part of our key values is to encourage kind behaviour from our children.

Also presented during this assembly is the Headteacher Award and the special Golden Dustpan and Brush for the cleanest classroom. We encourage children to bring in certificates for anything they have done out of school, so we can celebrate these successes as well.
