The U9 and U11 teams welcomed Grantham for two exciting rugby matches.

The U9 team played fast, flowing Tag Rugby against a well-drilled Grantham side. Some outstanding individual runs made a significant impact on the overall score, with the team finishing 11-7 ahead. The referee, from Grantham, praised our team’s running game for its effectiveness.

The U11s played a more structured game of Touch Rugby, focusing on discipline, automatic retreating on tackles, and raking the ball back to a dummy scrum-half before feeding it to teammates. Over the four quarters, our team matched Grantham in effort, but their expansive play and two-team rotation eventually broke down our defense. The final score was 4-2 to Grantham, but our team can be proud of their performance.
